Kathy Stark is a contemporary artist who explores the use of texture and repeat imagery in her paintings.  Her works have subtle coloration, texture and modulating surfaces. She uses written text, runic symbols, collage pieces, line, checkerboards and dots to create patterns employing a wide variety of materials.
