Pine Ledge Fiber Studio Fiber, texture and color are the focus of my work. With a background in handspinning, my primary interest is in the characteristics of the fibers themselves. The simplest of weave structures allow the yarns to take center stage. Thick, thin, smooth, shiny, seed and slub, commercial or handspun, the yarns themselves produce remarkable special effects. My cashmere, silk, alpaca and merino wool yarns hand spun specifically for weaving - display their most luxurious qualities in their transformation from fiber into finished scarves and shawls.
